I used to operate under the assumption that ministry and work would be as separate as the myth of “church and state” claimed. I believed that some work was noble while some work was simply ‘work’.

I now know that the mission field to which one is called is just as noble as the distant islands where missionaries toil to reach unbelievers. My work, my very corporate, secular work – is ministry.

And I am grateful to have been called to this place for such a time as this.
